Greystones is seeking a Training Facilitator to lead teambuilding activities and training programs aimed at developing high-performing teams within the Naval Ship Maintenance Community. This role is central to the Navy’s Integrated Project Team Development (IPTD) program, an initiative that is focused on enhancing the professional development of personnel and ensuring successful project completions. As an IPTD Facilitator, you will facilitate conversation and design and deliver impactful team-building activities that strengthen collaboration, morale, and problem-solving capabilities within project teams, contributing directly to the Navy’s mission readiness and operational excellence.
Locations: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard-Kittery, Maine and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard- Bremerton, Washington
Major Duties/Tasks:
- Plan, coordinate and lead teambuilding activities for Project Teams.
- Create an engaging and inclusive environment that fosters open communication, trust, and mutual respect among team members.
- Facilitate discussions to address team dynamics, resolve conflicts and build cohesion.
- Collaborate with program leadership to align activities with Navy objectives and team development goals.
- Coordinate logistics for teambuilding events, including venue selection, scheduling, and resource management.
- Ensure that activities are conducted during official time periods and meet guidelines.
- Guide teams in identifying and leveraging individual and collective team strengths.
- Assess the effectiveness of teambuilding events through feedback and performance metrics and provide reports and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future initiatives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience.
- Experience in facilitating teambuilding, leadership development or organizational training programs.
- Experience using teambuilding tools, techniques and methodologies.
- Familiar with Navy operations, ship maintenance processes or similar military environments.
- Strong organization skills to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs tailored to diverse audiences.
- Able to actively engage with team members and external stakeholders, showcasing strong communication abilities.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Certification in facilitation, coaching, or leadership development is preferred,
