WASHINGTON, D.C. —February 4, 2026 – Greystones Group, a woman-owned small business delivering innovative digital solutions to the U.S. Military and civilian federal agencies, today announced that it has been selected to present at the Naval Applications of Machine Learning (NAML) 2026 conference, March 2-5, 2026 in San Diego, Ca. Greystones’ presentation was chosen for the AI & Autonomy track, recognizing the company’s work advancing data-driven sustainment and readiness for unmanned maritime systems.
At NAML 2026, Greystones will present “From Data to Decision: An AI-Powered Sustainment Platform Enabling Predictive Readiness Across the USV Fleet,” highlighting the application of artificial intelligence to predictive and condition-based maintenance for the Navy’s Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) fleet. The session will be led by John Mark Suhy, Chief Technology Officer of Greystones Group, and will explore how AI-enabled architectures can improve sustainment decision-making for autonomous and semi-autonomous platforms operating in distributed maritime environments.
The Greystones Group presentation on March 3, 2026 will focus on Greystones’ approach to integrating sensor telemetry, maintenance data, configuration records, and operational context into a secure, unified data environment. A key capability to be demonstrated is a natural-language AI interface that enables maintainers and engineers to interact with complex sustainment data conversationally reducing diagnostic time, improving accessibility, and supporting more informed maintenance decisions.
“Selection to present at NAML reflects the Navy’s growing interest in practical, deployable AI solutions that directly support readiness,” said Sheila Duffy, CEO and Founder of Greystones Group. “Our work is focused on augmenting human decision-making with transparent, secure, and mission-aligned AI, particularly in sustainment domains where autonomy and data-driven insight are becoming essential.”
Greystones’ sustainment framework is designed for operation within Department of Defense environments and aligns with DISA STIG, NIST SP 800-53, and IL4/IL5 requirements. The architecture supports future integration with Navy logistics systems and digital twin environments, enabling predictive simulation and fleet-wide readiness assessment as data maturity increases.
NAML is the Department of the Navy’s premier technical forum for the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to real-world naval challenges. Greystones Group’s selection underscores the company’s role in delivering operationally relevant AI capabilities that support the Navy’s modernization and readiness objectives.
