Greystones Group has completed four months of support to the customer on the Visual Media Reasoning (VMR) Program. We would like to share some noteworthy achievements made by the team in that time period.
- Efforts performed by Dr. James LaRue generating an interactive framework enables the program to test and validate sub-system components on a workstation, limiting the requirement for expensive system resources. His work inspired the customer to coin the phase “VMR Lite”.
- Richard Chang, a SW Developer on the VMR Team, built an updated version of a significant component in the system and integrated into a system in a development environment. Richard’s achievement demonstrates the Greystones Team capability to apply updates to a system in a modular manner.
- Russell Chandler, a Senior SW Developer on the team, implemented an architectural change to the Domain Controller providing services for Active Directory, Domain Name Server and Network Time Protocol. The change removes an item identified by the Customer Infrastructure Team as a serious issue to change before we can install into the Customer Enterprise. Additionally, Russell has established his technical acumen with his co-workers, and has been recognized by the customer as an expert with the VMR system.
The combined proficiency and accomplishment of the VMR program team members show they are eager to make this program a success. We couldn’t be more pleased with the progress and concentrated effort shown thus far. Excellent job VMR team!
